The Assen race was a draw of luck for everybody, including Nolan Group riders who, experienced a weekend which was both exciting & cruel in terms of results. With all of our top Nolan riders having retired in Moto3 and Moto2, further misfortune occurred in MotoGP; Danilo Petrucci , a leading rider of the Nolan Group stable, reaffirmed his status amongst the top guys and remained in the lead during the the first half of the race (one step to victory) before the race was red flagged. However in the second part of the race, the Italian rider was immobile due an electrical problem- when it was virtually on the podium. An unfortunate stop as he was the only top rider without mistakes. Good weather is not guaranteed for the next race at Sachsenring. However, what is 100% guaranteed is the level of commitment from our Nolan riders ; Sun and standings will return to shine

"It was definitely a race that will spark a lot of discussion. Race Direction took the right decision. The track was really getting dangerous. I was riding with confidence and I felt good in the saddle even if it was definitely not easy to go fast. Unfortunately, once I was back in the garage, we had a small electronics problem so I had to restart with the second bike. The geometry was slightly different and the feeling was not perfect, so I managed the race, in any case bringing home an important result. This is a good calling card for my home race at the Sachsenring".
