Stoner (Nolan) wins, Lorenzo (X-lite) in second place; this is the fantastic result for the Nolan Group's first MotoGP race of the year. The weekend, which started well with X-lite captain Jorge Lorenzo's Pole Position and Casey Stoner fourth spot start, finished as best a race can finish with both of our racers dominating the first night race ever. Marco Melandri (Nolan), still having difficulties adapting to his Ducati, took the eleventh place. The 125 cc class saw Joan Olive (Nolan) in a superb second place finish, whereas the 250 cc class saw the return of Manuel Poggiali (X-lite), who after a year away conquered a respectable fourteenth place.
