Donington: Pasini on the podium in 250. Checa second at Brno in SBK.

What a wonderfully intense weekendof biking action! It all started on Sunday, 12.30 p.m. Brno, hosting the first of the Superbike races. Carlos Checa taking his X-802 to second position, once more on the podium. Meanwhile, at Donington Park, UK, the Grand Prix is under way, 250cc rider Mattia Pasini, takes a well deserved third place with his trusty Nolan X-802! Immediately returning to Brno, where, despite a superb battle in race two, Carlos Checa has to be content with fifth place. Now, the TV remote control is on fire! We return to Donington for MotoGp, the most anticipated of the days races, Here, under heavy skies, there is an unexpected turn of events: Stoner and Ducati decide to start the race with wet tyres, a risky strategy, ultimately doomed to fail. Lorenzo however is leading the race... only to fall down when braking on the white line, Race victory thrown away? So close and yet so far! Melandri is battling in the middle of the group, but the rain is increasing so he pits, swaps his bike and achieves a solid seventh place. The general standings sees Lorenzo second trailing Rossi by 25 points, Stoner  a further 37 points adrift in third and Melandri seventh. Now MotoGP goes on holiday, the next race is on 16 August in Czech Republic. In Donington we also had an exceptional tester: H Windsor... Prince Harry! Son of the prince of Wales, wearing our X-801RR during his ride on the two seater Ducati Desmosedici with Randy Mamola. Final mention goes to Simeon’s magnificent victory in the Superstock 1000 race  back at Brno and the fine fifth place of his teammate Daniele Beretta.
Superbike goes on holiday too. The appointment is at Nurburgring the 6 September.
