Jerez SBK: Chaz Davies wins again after the summer break.

It was an astonishing weekend for Chaz Davies, who after the long summer break, is back to the podium in second position in race 1 and brings his total to five seasonal victories with a win in race 2. In both races, the Welshman started well and managed to avoid mistakes resulting in a phenomenal day.
Good results also from Baiocco (8th and 6th), and Camier (9th and 8th). Gets points also Mercado and Salom. Unlucky Canepa, started from the first row, but crashed in race 1.
Next race in France October 4th.
Davies still second in the standing with two GP’s remaining.
In superstock 1000 podium for De Rosa, second, and Savadori third.

“What a second race! I thought it would be very difficult to win here today but we did well not to change anything from race 1; the track conditions were very different and it went better. In race 1, I knew that I’d have trouble in the early stages. I was able to match Tom’s pace in the second half but I expected a drop in his tyre performance that never arrived. I’m very pleased with today’s results of course and it’s really important to have taken good points at this stage of the championship. I know the battle for second in the overall standings will be tight and I hope it goes to the wire in Qatar.”
