LE MANS MOTOGP: UNPREDICTABLE WEATHER AND A DARK AND LIGHT RACE FOR NOLANGROUP RIDERS

MotoGP, Le Mans: unpredictable weather and a dark and light race for Nolan Group riders!

The Le Mans weekend traditionally offers a capricious and an unpredictable weather for all the riders on track.

This case made no exception and gave good and bad surprises for our boys.

Great race for Danilo Petrucci, finally at ease on his KTM and not far from the podium, difficult races instead for Alex Rins and Aron Canet. The first crashed twice while he was very fast, the second ended his race very early due to his impulse to do well.

What does Le Mans teach us? That talent always wins in the end, but that attention is everything, because a little distraction punishes even the champions.

We love you so much that we want to remind you of the need to be cautious anytime while on your bikes. This is how we can enjoy our passion every day.

And now let's talk about beautiful things. Mugello awaits us, the first of our home races. There will be no audience but we still need your support. Will you be on our side?

MOTOGP

DANILO PETRUCCI 5th:

"I’m very, very happy about this race! Finally, it was a really good one. The situation overall was quite critical, I did a small mistake while swapping the bikes as I didn’t put in the first gear, which made me lose some positions. Then it was really easy to make mistakes, when we rejoined the race with wet tyres. Anyway, a top 5 is always very good. We are starting to get more used to the bike. For sure, I wanted to be on the podium, but for this, I have to be perfect and a bit faster. We surely need to improve our Qualifying, but I’m happy."

ALEX RINS DNF:

"It was a big shame that the heavy rain came, because I was saying to my team and my staff yesterday that in the dry I could finish on the podium. I made a perfect start and put in good laps at the beginning, but then when it started to rain it was a big risk because the track was really wet. Coming out of pit lane and into Turn 4 I tried to use a little bit of front brake to help me turn but it turned out to be a mistake as I lost the front. Then I changed the bike again so that I could rejoin. This bike had wet tyres but the set-up was still for dry conditions and so it was very unsettled and reactive, very difficult to ride, then I lost the front and crashed again. Obviously I’m disappointed but there’s nothing more I can do, I was glad to have strong pace in the dry and I got into podium contention really quickly. I’ll keep working and look forward to the next races, I’m strong and the bike is strong, I’m sorry for the team that today has been another DNF but we will pick ourselves up."

ARONN CANET DNF:

"I'm sad because I was in the front positions and I could fight for the podium. I have fallen because of a small error. We have to learn from these things and move forward."
