Melandri wins in motocross and has a try in Rally races.

After the Valencia World Superbike test on his Yamaha, Marco Melandri returned to racing in the charity event 'Uniti x La Vita' which took place in Faenza (Ravenna) for the Onlus Wings for Life and also for Luca Biondi, a young MX rider who sustained injuries causing some paralysis in a recent accident.

Marco (X-Lite X501) debuting with Yamaha MX won the overall race with a second place in race one and victory in race 2.  The Nolan Group also raised money for the charity by donating a Lorenzo Replica X-802 helmet signed by the World Champion and also replicas of Melandri and Casey Stoner.  The new Nolan Group event truck was also present at the event and was very busy with people viewing the new ranges for 2011.

Marco, who never tires of anything engine related, also recently attended the Monza Rally with Nolan Group President, Alberto Vergani (navigator) driving a Lotus Exige GT Cup.  This was the first time that Marco had raced a rally car but still finished 4th in his category and 56th overall despite not testing the car and a few mistakes in the race.

Marco now heads to Australia for more World Superbike testing.
