MOTOGP, MUGELLO: HOME RACE, HOME RIDER, HOME HELMET!

The Mugello race is one we will never forget, at Nolangroup.

It started very well and finished even better, thanks to the first MotoGP victory of our Danilo Petrucci, a rider who has always been linked to our brand and has been part of our family since his first steps in motorcycle racing.

Danilo has worked very hard throughout his career, and finally after many years he has reaped the fruits of his work, becoming the protagonist of the best weekend of all, in front of the strongest riders in the world.

Victory for him, at home, in the last few meters, in front of his people and us who have applauded him tirelessly.

Excellent result also for Alex Rins, our other ambassador.

He and Petrucci are third and fourth in the general standings.

Good job!

In Moto2, an excellent result for Enea Bastianini, while in Moto3, Aron Canet went well but struggled a little bit more than usual.

The next race? In Spain, in two weeks at the home of the "enemy", so to speak, in Catalonia. For us it's a battle, a fierce war, but it ends up on the track. And it always puts safety first.

Remember that too. No safety, no fun!

MOTOGP

Danilo Petrucci FIRST

"I really wanted this victory and when I realized the pace at the front wasn't too fierce and I was able to manage my rhythm in the leading group, I told myself it was the right time to go for it. I tried to control the race by staying in the lead to avoid the risk of losing too many positions in the battle, dictating the pace to preserve the energies and the tyres for the final rush. I was a bit worried about the slipstream as we entered the final lap, but I managed to brake really deep and find a small gap between Andrea and Marc to retake the lead, then I simply pushed as hard as I could until the checkered flag. A good chunk of this win came thanks to Andrea, who took me under his wing this winter and gave so many precious tips. Now we'll keep fighting together for the championship."

Alex Rins FOURTH

"I don’t think I could have had a better result with a better grid position, I recovered a lot of places on the first lap, but I was losing a lot of time on the straight. We knew it would be a tricky part of the track for us, and it’s a bit of a pity. But I gave 100% and pushed really hard, I tried to pass Dovizioso on the last corner, but he had a bit more traction than me. Anyway, I’m happy with this 4th and it all helps with the championship!"

MOTO2

Enea Bastianini SIXTH

"It was a great race, in which I had a lot of fun. I started back, but I managed to recover: closing 6th in the home GP is a great result! Thanks to the team for their excellent work! I hope to continue on this road and always do better. "

MOTO3

Aron Canet SEVENTH

Difficult day, although I know what we are capable of and we will return with the next race. I still remain championship leader, anyway.

Thanks to my team, Max Racing team, for the good job.
