MOTOGP: FIRST TIME VISIT TO THE BURIRAM CIRCUIT, AND WHAT A SHOW WAS PUT ON!

As ever the NolanGroup riders rode well, and gave it their all but with limited success. Unfortunate for both Alex Rins and Danilo Petrucci still both in the top 10, so not a terrible weekend, and first outing in Buriram!

Similar news in Moto3, a good race from Jakub Kornfeil, again top 10, but will be hoping for better!

Now looking forward, there are only 4 races left in this season, two of which are in October.

MOTOGP

ALEX RINS 6th

"I pushed a lot from the beginning to try and reduce the gap to the front group and I lost a lot of time fighting with the other riders so I stressed a lot the tyre because I was pushing hard. Towards the end of the race I knew I needed to settle down and I realised I could take 5th or 6th which was not so bad. In the end I just lost the 5th place but it was not so bad and I’m quite happy. Things are going in a good way and we head to Japan next, which is a positive place for me and for the team."

DANILO PETRUCCI 9th

"It was a pretty difficult race for me. Unfortunately starting from the third row penalized me especially in the first laps. With this temperature, it was important to manage the race but I always had to push. In the end, I managed to pass both Iannone and Jack but I lost some points on Zarco and Crutchlow. The goal for Japan? The first thing is to do a good qualifying."

MOTO3

JACUB KORNFEIL 10th

"At the end of the weekend we can not really be happy. The potential for a successful weekend was definitely there. In the race today I showed a really good performance and a strong fight for the places. My KTM bike was perfectly prepared - everything was right. When Enea Bastianini crashed in the last corner in Marco I was right behind the two and had to go far. That put me back in 10th place. I'm very sad, I fought all the way through the race to get a good position and then lost the place in the last 100m. It annoys me, but we have to look ahead and never give up. "
