MOTOGP, BURIRAM: A SPICY THAI WEEKEND, OFFERS AND PODIUMS TO THE NOLANGROUP RIDERS!

In Thailand, we've just had one of the most beautiful MotoGP 2019 race weekends. It is a pleasure  for us to congratulate Marc Marquez on winning the world title, because sportsmanship starts from respect and recognition of the value of your opponents.

As for our guys, good results in MotoGP for Alex Rins (now third in the world standing) and Danilo Petrucci, ninth at the finish line and fifth place in the championship standings, just a few points from the world podium.

Great races in Moto2 for Enea Bastianini and Remy Gardner, both close to the top ten, as well as a spectacular podium for Alonso Lopez in Moto3.

A difficult weekend for Aron Canet, who finished his race after only four laps, but he is still running for the world title which still has four more races left.

The end of the Asian triple takes us to Japan, where we will certainly see a hard-fought race. If the title in the premier class has been assigned already, the same cannot be said of Moto2 and Moto3, where there are many riders with a only a few points difference.

In the country of Samurai the tricolor will be honored for sure. Early wake up, a nice coffee ... and lots of support for our guys!

MOTOGP:

ALEX RINS FIFTH

"Today’s result is important for the championship, because I managed to get up to 5th and get good points. It was difficult to over-take Dovizioso, but I’m pleased to have recovered some places from my grid position. I’m focused on the next race and bringing a good result to the Suzuki workers in Japan, and in front of all the fans."

DANILO PETRUCCI NINTH

"Without doubt today I made a bit of progress compared to the last few races, but we’re still missing something to get back in and fight for the top five positions. That was also my target in this race but unfortunately in the early laps I wasn’t able to be quick enough and afterwards, even though I had a good pace, I was too far away from the group of riders ahead of me. In the end we took home a few points but it wasn’t the result I wanted: at Motegi in a fortnight my situation will have to change."

MOTO2:

ENEA BASTIANINI ELEVENTH

"After a few laps I had problems with the tires and I never managed to sink some decisive attacks. But the result is good, even if it is still below our expectations, we know where to improve for the next races."

REMY GARDNER TWELFTH

"Today was a really frustrating day. We struggled a lot with the speed of the bike and by lap five my front tyre was destroyed from the way I was having to ride in the turns and on the brakes. I spent the rest of the race saving the front from washing out, so it was not the result we wanted. I’m extremely disappointed and we need to figure out if we can keep using this soft tyre in all situations or if we need to change it for the hard tyre. The team and I know what we need to do, and we will fix it before the end of the year. Already looking forward to Japan!"

MOTO3:

ALONSO LOPEZ THIRD

"I feel very good; I’m very happy to have achieved my first podium in the World Championship. I have worked very hard throughout this season, and although it’s true that sometimes this effort has not been focused in the right direction, today’s podium is a reward for us. After the good result at Aragón, I needed to continue on this positive path, especially at a circuit where I struggled a lot last year.

The race was very intense from the start, with a lot of overtaking and some riders riding at the limit. I want to dedicate this podium to my team, to my family and to all the people who have supported me in difficult times."
