The Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, located in the northern province of Santiago del Estero, it’s the first of the American GPs.
The Nolan Group riders fought like Puma’s – the true owners of these lands, and obtained, as usual, interesting and satisfying results. Great comeback by Alex Rins, from 16th to 5th in MotoGP and good performance by Danilo Petrucci.
First podium of his career for Remy Gardner, second in Moto2 a race to remember for him. Meanwhile quite a difficult race for Aaron Canet, twelfth in Moto3 a tough weekend after the qualifying sessions.

Alex Rins FIFTH
“The race was incredible, I didn’t make any mistakes which was amazing given how slippery and tricky the track was. I really need to improve my grid positions in the next races, so I’m aiming for better qualifying sessions because my starting position really cost me today. But I’m happy to bring home a Top 5 for myself and the team.”
Danilo Petrucci SIXTH
"I'm happy because, after making some mistakes during qualifying, today we managed to give our best out there on track. Had I started a bit closer to the front, I probably could have fought for the podium until the very end, but I had to ask a lot to the tyres to climb back through the field and in the last couple of laps I was really struggling with the rear under braking, so I had to play defense. Still, I'm satisfied because we worked well here, improving day by day, and I want to maintain the momentum at Austin, where first and foremost I'll need to be stronger in qualifying. Our goal is to ride constantly at the front and score points, which will be crucial in such a long season."

Remy Gardner SECOND
“You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this. I could’ve won it but Balda touched me and I got a bit out of shape on the brakes. I did it to the other guys so I’m not going to complain like a little girl, but I should have given him a bit more room and been a bit smarter with that tactic. I never gave up. Every time someone passed me, I was like no, I want this, and after losing out in Qatar by two hundredths when I saw Schrotter in front of me I thought, it’s not happening this time and so I just pulled my finger out and gave it everything. I have no words, I am a bit emotional. Massive thanks to the team, they have believed in me from the start and to everyone who has been sending tweets and messages on Facebook, thank you.”

"This was a race too complicated to win. In the end due to several factors we ended up quite behind.
