MOTOGP ASSEN: EXCELLENT PERFORMANCES FOR NOLANGROUP RIDERS

The Assen race is a classic, in the cathedral of motorcycling. The Nolan Group riders gave, as usual, their best to do well and they succeeded. Unfortunately Aron Canet was absent and had to give up the race due to the after-effects of a recent accident. We wish him to recover during this holiday period so that he can get back in better shape than ever. As for the other riders in Moto2, an excellent performance by Manuel Gonzalez, ninth, and an excellent race by Firmin Aldeguer, eleventh at the finish line.

Top ten instead in MotoGP for Alex Rins who despite his recent injury fought like a lion while some more difficulties for Stefan Bradl, still struggling with the setup of his Honda. Do you know what MotoGP does now before Silverstone? Go on vacation! And you? Tell us about your travels on our social channels. We are waiting for you!

MOTOGP

ALEX RINS: 10th

"My start wasn’t as good as usual, and I’m not really sure why - I started ninth but I was only 16th in the early laps. Then I wanted to make sure I had enough heat in the tyres and I didn’t want to push until I felt more able to. I did feel some pain during today’s race, and it wasn’t easy, but I managed to get my way up to 10th and that’s quite a nice finish after such a difficult period for me and my team. Now it’s time to take a few weeks of rest and come back in Silverstone – a track I really love."

STEFAN BRADL: 18th

"It was not a bad race and overall I am happy with what we did. It’s clear that we suffered a lot, the bike at the moment does not have the right balance and we need to keep working on it. I made a good start and I was able to stay with Marini for most of the race which was good for information. This was good to feedback to the engineers. Now we go into the Summer Break but I have another test in Jerez in July, so we will keep working then. We are not going to stop working until we have more improvements."

MOTO2:

MANUEL GONZALEZ: 9th

"It's been another great Sunday, one of the best of the season! We tried a new suspention setting during the warm up and I had a good feeling.

I know I could do well in the race, so to stay with the front group. I had a good start but I touched with another rider, and I lost some position.

I had a very good pace and I could overtake some riders, finishing in P9. My team did an incredible work!

See you all after the holidays."

FERMIN ALDEGUER: 11th

"In the end, I'm happy with the race, we knew we were strong even if we hadn't shown it yet. And nothing, a shame to have taken the long lap because we would certainly have reached the leading group, but in any case we finish this weekend quite satisfied of the work done. We will continue to work hard in the summer break to face the missing races of the season more prepared than ever."
