MOTOGP BRNO: HOT WEATHER & EXCITEMENT FOR THE NOLANGROUP RIDERS

A summery weekend in Brno, Czech Republic brought a lot of surprises with it, and was a pleasant way to spend a summer’s weekend if you were able to make it! As always, our guys were well represented in MotoGP & Moto3.

There were placings for Petrucci and Rins and a double podium in Moto3 thanks to the excellent races of Canet and Kornfeil, very competitive in his home GP. The placement of Bastianini is also excellent, always very aggressive and competitive. So 2nd, 3rd & 4th in Moto3 makes for a fairly successful weekend in that class!

And you? Were you on vacation or at work, like us at Nolan Group? Tell us all about it on our social channels!

MOTOGP

DANILO PETRUCCI 6th

"I had a good race, I'm happy for this weekend, maybe I could have taken a few more points but I'm going to Austria with great satisfaction, I'm very happy for Ducati, I feel I have made a good contribution."

ALEX RINS 11th

"It was a really hard race, and very long. We struggled on corner exit, with a lack of traction. Tomorrow we’ll work hard to try and improve this problem so that next time we can be with the front group. Sincerely, I hoped this race would not be so hard and that I could stay with the group more easily, but it was hard to overtake. The last six laps were very difficult. We’ll try to find the solutions so that we can bring the bike back on the podium in the next races."

MOTO3

ARON CANET 2nd

"It was a very complicated race. My plan was to get in the top three and try to break the group, but it was very complicated because the KTM was very fast on the straights. The second position is positive for the championship, but I'm not totally happy because I think that on the last lap I could fight with Di Giannantonio for the win. We are in fourth overall position, 21 points from the leader, and we will continue to work."

JACUB KORNFEIL 3rd

"An incredible feeling to finally be back on the podium after two years. I honestly don't really know what to say. The race was like a dream for me, because everything you imagine in racing was present in today's race. I had a good start and got into the first corner as a leader. I knew the guys behind me are fast and I had to give everything to keep my lead. There were many changes of position, which allowed me to slip back to 8th place in the middle of the race. Then i realized that it was really dangerous to stay in this group and I wanted to move forward quickly. I gave everything and took every opportunity to return to the podium positions. I am very happy throughout the weekend. A big thank you to my crew, they really made no mistake and worked great with me together and they always made me feel close to my fans. That gave me a positive feeling, what I visibly needed. I dedicate this third place to my team. Everybody did a great job. "

ENEA BASTIANINI 4th

"It was a really difficult race, unfortunately I did not start well in acceleration and I found myself back in the early stages and today being able to overtake the whole group was anything but easy. The moment you stood in the lead, the others immediately passed you back. In the end I tried to push the limit: the fourth place is not bad as a result but here I was aiming for more points ... Now we keep pushing and we are already thinking about Austria! "
