MOTOGP QATAR: LOTS TO ENJOY UNDER THE SPOTLIGHTS!

Those spotlights & the spotlight was back on the MotoGP riders this weekend, and what a show it was, everyone is glad to have it back! Even better is that it could be enjoyed with your weekend evening!

So we all enjoyed this round of MotoGP, particularly due to the Nolan Group riders performing so well in all classes. So strong from Alex Rins & Danilo Petrucci in the top class, both in qualifying and the race! Further strong placements in Moto2 from Remy Gardner & Enea Bastianini, and finally a podium in Moto3, gifted to us by Aaron Canet, a great start not only for him, but many of our riders!

A short hop to the other side of the world for the next race, in Argentina we’re sure to be in for more excitement & entertainment! Join us on March 31st!

MOTOGP

Alex Rins FOURTH

"It was an incredible start to the season, it shows all the hard work we’ve done in the winter. The race pace was quite slow and I was constantly trying to get to the front to pull a gap, but Dovi and Marquez overtook me down the straight and it was difficult. We know this isn’t our best track but I felt good and we’re all pleased with this result."

Danilo Petrucci SIXTH

"My sixth place is still positive because we scored important points for the championship. Unfortunately, I was hindered by a less than optimal start, but the race pace wasn't very fast and I was able to recover positions quite quickly. Still, I struggled to pass other riders and push hard in braking. In retrospect, choosing the soft tyre for both the front and rear was a gamble, but we expected the temperatures to drop further and we also weren't as fast as usual on the straight. That said, the championship has just begun and I'm confident we'll bounce back soon."

MOTO2

Remy Gardner FOURTH

"What a start to the season! We were strong from the off and did a good job in qualifying. I made a good start and was able to find my rhythm. I honestly thought we had done it but, in the end, we come away from Qatar with thirteen points, my best ever GP finish and the confidence that we can run at the front. I lost some grip in the closing laps and we need to find a bit more speed, but we will get there. Massive thanks to the ONEXOX TKKR SAG Racing Team for the giving me the tools to fight at the front. See you all in Argentina!"

Enea Bastianini NINTH

"It was a positive debut with a beautiful race. Unfortunately at the first corner Navarro took me inside, but then I managed to keep a good pace recovering positions until closing 9th. We were really strong and I thank the whole team for the great job!."

MOTO3

Aaron Canet THIRD

"It was a difficult race because there were so many riders who were faster than me on the straight and I was constantly passed. I'm still happy, as the 16 points of the third place are very important for the ranking. There are still 18 races to go and we will see what will happen as early as the next race in Argentina, which I hope will come soon."
