In 2010, our riders have performed perfectly and ensured we have had one of the best years in our GP history and this continued on Sunday with Casey Stoner taking the win at the Australian Grand Prix. His outstanding performance further demonstrated his confidence on his home track and gave him top position on the podium for the 4th consecutive year.
Jorge Lorenzo, the recently crowned World Champion, celebrated his 50th race in the premier class taking second position and showing true class as he constantly tried to battle for the lead from Stoner.
Marco Melandri settled for 9th place, had a good start but was challenged with mechanical problems yet again which seem to have troubled him all season.
Stoner now lies 3rd in the championship with only 23 points between him and 2nd place.
