The first race in Austria, named as Styrian GP, ??has already been positive for our riders.
A top ten for Alex Rins, now back among the best in MotoGP after his injury, and a near victory for Aron Canet, long in command but the victim of a small mistake that jeopardized his victory. Some problems, however, for Danilo Petrucci, who while he was making an excellent race, ran into an error that cost him too much.
What's good about the Austrian GP? WThe good is that there are two of them. In fact, next week there will be an appeal test ... and our guys will be able to try to improve. After all, we fork for this, day after day, at Nolan Group.
MOTOGP
ALEX RINS 7th
"Today was a mixture of good and bad for me, I struggled a lot with the front brake and I didn’t feel comfortable on the hard braking zones. Lap by lap I tried to adapt to this and manage it, and I was able to gain some places. In the end I finished 7th, but for sure the bike was capable of finishing closer to the front so we need to adjust it and resolve the issue for next weekend. I’m pleased that we can race again in just a few days at this same track because it gives me another chance to improve and bring a better result. The ride height device felt good, it gave me a step forward in acceleration and I’m happy to keep working with it from Friday."
DANILO PETRUCCI 18th
"We knew it would be a difficult race for me in terms of acceleration and in fact, I struggled a lot to stay in the group. I managed to stay quite close to the others, but at the end, I tried to pass Iker, went wide and lost pretty many positions. I’m very sorry for this mistake! All the race I fought with the bike, trying to recover the time lost on the straight. We will try again next week."

ARON CANET 2nd
"We have fought at the front of the race and we have come to lead. In the end we go home with a second position at a circuit where last year I made the mistake of crashing on the second lap. I take away the bad memories, but for next week we have to continue like this, with this constancy."
