SUPERBIKE, ESTORIL: SUMMER RACE, HOT RESULTS FOR NOLANGROUP RIDERS!

Already very hot in Portugal, for the Estoril GP. The climate is also hot, very hot right from qualifying.

For Chaz Davies, an uphill weekend, ended with a magnificent podium for a rider who never stops believing in it.

For Caricasulo, a magnificent pole position and two races a little lacking in satisfaction. Twelfth and sixth place is certainly not what the Italian expected.

Before going to Barcelona, ??a question: have you seen us on TV?

Nolan Group was sponsor of the Giro d'Italia No.104, which has just ended! With our N100-5 Plus Overland N-Com helmet, we stood alongside the motorcycle team for over 3,500km.

Those are testers! And you? What are you waiting for to tell us your km?

SUPERBIKE:

CHAZ DAVIES RACE1: 6th

"Difficult to be happy with P 6, but probably I should be reasonably content, considering where we started and considering that we lost all FP 2 yesterday. With this two factors, it’s easy to overlook the impact that they both have on the weekend. Today, during the race, I felt like a Free Practice session, I was understanding the bike a little bit better as the race progressed, I wasn’t totally happy, and obviously I was in a lot of traffic, so I had to come through a little bit. But when I did come through I started to understand a few things. I feel like our weekend is conditioned by the yellow flag rule, unfortunately I was a victim of, I mean, we start in P 15 again tomorrow in Superpole Race, which again will be really difficult. In this circuit it’s not easy to overtake, too. We need to work hard on our package tonight, to try to get a good start tomorrow and at least try to move a little bit forward in the Superpole Race, to have the best opportunity to jump on the podium in Race 2!"

CHAZ DAVIES RACE2: 2nd

"I am very very happy to finish the weekend like that! It was a complicated Saturday but we did a good job today to move forward on the grid in the Superpole Race and this gave us a chance to fight for the podium in the last Race! Really good job. Huge thank you to the Team and the guys not just for the great work today and the good job they have done this weekend, but also during the long winter to get here. All the guys from the Team deserve this more than I do. Hopefully we can learn a lot from this weekend and we can put this in the next races!"

SUPERSPORT:

FEDERICO CARICASULO RACE1: 12th

"I am disappointed because we had worked perfectly this weekend, and we could have won this race. I crashed without understanding. I was not attacking, I was even careful, but I lost the grip of my front tyre. Tomorrow we start on pole again, with the clear objective of getting our first podium of the season."
