In Qatar si sono accese le luci per il primo atto dello spettacolo MOtoGP 2021. E' uno spettacolo in due parti, dato che la pista Qatariota ospiterà il mondiale per le prime due gare.
I nostri rider, combattivi come sempre, se la sono cavata bene ma di certo hanno bisogno di un portafortuna.
Caduta alla seconda curva per Petrucci, al debutto su KTM del team Tech 3, sesto posto per Alex Rins, rallentato da gomme in calo, e top ten sfiorata per Stefan Bradl, ottimo sostituto di Marc Marquez sulla Honda HRC.
In Moto2, non male la gara di Aron Canet, che non è arrivato tredicesimo ma dodicesimo più uno, come da tradizione scaramantica del suo team e del grande Angel Nieto... e noi lo assecondiamo.

ALEX RINS 6°
"My start was not one of my best ones, so I had to push a lot to recover the positions I lost and catch up with the leading group. Already six laps before Joan passed me I was beginning to struggle with the tires, so I think I cooked them. I did my best, and I'm pretty happy, but in the end I couldn't manage to go higher. The bike felt good and my pace was strong, so I'm ready for next week! "
STEFAN BRADL 11°
"At the end of the day we have done a good first race and I am pleased. I think we suffered a little bit because of Qualifying, in the race we were able to run well and fight a lot. At the start of the race, I was maybe a little too conservative with the front tyre, I think Pol was more aggressive during this time and I could have gone with him, but it is better to bring the bike home than take too many risks in the first race. Maybe we could have done a little more and stayed with Pol, which would have been nice, but I am still pleased."
DANILO PETRUCCI NQ
"Non ho molte parole. Mi dispiace solo molto. Purtroppo ho toccato un altro pilota e sono caduto molto duramente alla seconda curva. Questa è probabilmente la cosa peggiore, che potrebbe accadere per la mia prima gara con il team. Il bello la notizia è che non sono infortunato, il che è importantissimo. Mi dispiace tanto per i miei ragazzi e per tutti. Ci riproveremo la prossima settimana! "

ARON CANET 12°
"E 'stata una gara molto complicata, abbiamo apportato alcune modifiche all'avantreno e ci ha fatto peggiorare in quello che è il nostro punto di forza, la frenata. Non potevo frenare forte, ho lottato con piloti che frenano molto meno. All'inizio eravamo un po 'stanchi, con le gomme nuove, perché i miei avversari avevano più grip all'inizio della gara. Ma nella fase finale avevo un passo migliore, sono riuscito a raggiungere il gruppo che lottava per la top 10, ma non mi è bastato lottare per vincere la gara, che è l'obiettivo di quest'anno."
