After seven races, 5 victories and 2 second places, we totally agreed with Lorenzo. After the finishing line, with his X-Lite X-802, he acts the "hammer gag". It was a faultless weekend. In his home race Jorge scored the best time both during friday and saturday tests. Finally the conquest of the pole position amazing all his fans. Jorge has really become an hammer. When he isn't ahead, he misleads opponents going to win alone. Casey Stoner (Nolan X-802) comes back on the podium. He was always in the first three positions during the tests and then he got the third place. Maybe without that little mistake in bend he could have battled with Lorenzo. Marco Melandri (Nolan X-802) was really stoic. After tha bad fallen of Assen he still had a big pain in his shoulder but he grit his teeth and he battled for the central positions concluding a big race at the ninth place.
Lorenzo leads the general standing, Stoner is in sixth position while Melandri is ninth.
