It was a perfect weekend for Casey Stoner who, after gaining pole position, earned his seventh victory of the season in Brno, taking his Nolan N94 onto the highest step of the podium. Marco Melandri, however, was forced to miss the race due to a discal hernia in his neck which struck him down during the trials on Friday morning.
It was a positive weekend for our 125 rider Mattia Pasini too, who earned himself an excellent second place.
