The first tests were certainly positive, and Carlos Checa can now focus on what looks to be another intense Superbike season. Enthusiastic and well motivated for 2010, Checa asked us to develop a NEW GRAPHIC that would 100% represent his true nature.
The project is the result of an idea of his, coming from the desire to wear a helmet that was not only aesthetically beautiful, but also different and unique. And the Nolan Group was only too happy to satisfy the rider's request.

The new Checa helmet is a metaphor for his life. Every single detail of the graphics tells a story. The story of a man and a motorcyclist. A plucky man, always searching for emotions. An explorer who never tires of knowledge. A passionate motorcyclist, still with a great desire to travel the world.
The animals express his love for untamed nature, for climbing, surfing and all extreme sports, whilst the continents represent the way he feels he is a 'globalised' citizen. A compass rose features at the very centre of the shell.
The new CHECA REPLICA has been developed on the top-of-the-range X-lite X-802 model, as worn by the rider in the last two seasons.

Las primeras pruebas fueron más que positivas y para Carlos Checa se avizora otra intensa temporada de Superbike. Motivado y lleno de energía para el 2010, Checa ha solicitado el desarrollo de una NUEVA GRÁFICA, que represente completamente su verdadera naturaleza.
El proyecto es el fruto de una idea suya, nacida del deseo de usar un casco que no sólo fuese bello sino además diferente y especial. Nolan Group ha acogido con el mismo entusiasmo la solicitud del piloto.

El nuevo casco de Checa es una metáfora sobre su vida. Cada detalle gráfico cuenta una historia. La historia de un hombre y de un piloto. Un hombre aguerrido, siempre en busca de emociones, un explorador que nunca se cansa de conocer. Un piloto apasionado, todavía con deseos de viajar por el mundo.
Los animales representan su amor por la naturaleza salvaje, por las escaladas, el surf y todos los deportes extremos; los continentes, por el contrario, representan su sentir como ciudadano "del mundo". En el centro de la calota, la rosa de los vientos.
El nuevo REPLICA CHECA ha sido realizado en el modelo top de la gama X-lite X-802 que ya usaba el piloto en las últimas dos temporadas.
