Our "Superhero" Jorge Lorenzo won the Indianapolis MotoGP race on
Sunday,
wearing a special "Captain America" version of his super-helmet X-802. A
victory he greatly deserved, avoiding mistakes due both to the
treacherous
racetrack (where his nearest rivals fell off), and for the psychological
pressure he had to overcome after the last few races.
This result actually reopens the Championship, maintaining Lorenzo in
2nd
place, but now just 25 points behind Rossi, halving the gap.
Talking about the misfortunes of this American GP, unfortunately we have
to
mention also, the excellent Marco Melandri who fought for 6th place
until
his fall with three laps to go, and Mattia Pasini who fell down at the
beginning of 250 race. But our Champions will have the chance to make up
for
these slip-ups next Sunday in Misano.

Ahola and his X-501 demonstrated their strengths, conquering two second
places in the E1 category, so our Finn is two steps away from the World
title. Next race September 12/13th in France.
