Superb Jorge Lorenzo wearing his X-lite X-802 wins the Jerez MotoGp despite a poor start and delights the partisan audience of 122.000 Spaniards! “It’s a dream” said Lorenzo after the race, so much so in fact, Jorge plunged into man made lake, still wearing helmet and race suit! Casey Stoner was not so happy (Nolan X-802) because although Friday's free practice went well, he wasn't able to improve the set up of his bike and managed "only" (only for him!) fifth place. Meanwhile, Marco Melandri shows a return to form after a dissapointing Qatar event, with his trusty Nolan X-802, he finished 8th, happier after the technical changes to his Honday inbetween rounds. Hopefully, this progression will continue for the next rounds.
Lorenzo now leads the World Championship, the next round is at Le Mans, France on May 23rd.
