MOTEGI: TITLE ASSIGNED...BUT ALSO RIDERS HAVE SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE!

The weekend at Motegi assigns the 2016 MotoGP title in advance; congratulations to Marc Marquez, because at Nolan, we know how to win, but also when to congratulate our opponents. But apart from that, here are our achievements: two riders finished in the top ten for the MotoGP; Petrucci and Bradl. Each pilot is successfully overcoming their difficulties and their development work is bearing promising results. The situation is different in Moto 3 for Enea Bastianini, who is now a confirmed champion. Today's victory, over the champion Brad Binder, and all the official riders, is a clear sign of talent and hard work. How many other guys like him are wearing a Nolan or X-Lite helmet every day whilst traveling to school, commuting to work, or to play sports? Let us know on our Facebook page. Next race: Malayisia, a place where light motorcycles and scooters are a lifestyle. Just like here in Italy, where we proudly produce every Nolan or X-Lite helmet.

Danilo Petrucci 8th

It is a good result although frankly I expected to do better in the race because during the weekend the pace was better. I had problems with the front, I could not brake how I wanted. At first I tried to stay with Barbera and Espargaro but I was not fast enough. Now we move to Australia and there is no time to think. Phillip Island is a totally different track we will have to work a lot to change the set up. I can not wait to get back on track.

Stefan Bradl 10th

“I am not fully satisfied with the race today. We had the potential to aim for a better result. Unfortunately, I lost a few positions straight away at the start, whereas during the race I could not find the same feeling braking that I had yesterday in practice. Because of that, I made a few mistakes that certainly cost us a few positions. In any case, being in the top-10 is important to continue our positive trend. We worked well throughout the weekend and we want to do the same at Phillip Island as well”.

Enea Bastianini 1st

“It was a very difficult race, Binder always pushed very hard and in the early stages also Migno and Bagnaia were able to maintain a good rhythm. In the second part of the race Binder started to push even harder, opening a little gap, so at that point I tried to chase him. I succeeded, although closing the gap was not easy: our lap times were very similar, but in the last six laps I really gave everything I could, and on the last lap I managed to catch him. It was a great feeling to pass him at Turn 11. I knew that Brad would have been very fast in the straight, but in the previous laps I also saw him going a little bit wide on the exit of the corner that leads on the straight, so I tried to make the most of it. I took his slipstream and then I attacked him under braking. We did it, although it was not easy! I’m very happy: podiums are always beautiful, but the victory is another thing!”.
