MOTOGP ASSEN: IN THE MOST SPECTACULAR RACE OF THE LAST FEW YEARS, THE NOLANGROUP RIDERS ARE AT THE T

A spectacular & exciting race at the cathedral of motorcycling and one that Nolan riders can be proud to excel at!
Although it wasn’t always certain, and hung in the balance until the last few laps.

The Nolan Group riders have achieved honours, as usual. Not only in MotoGP with Alex Rins placing 2nd, but also in Moto3 with both Canet and Bastianini excelling and finishing on the podium.  These podiums all show the progress that is being made by these young Nolan group riders

But what to do after such an exciting race, well we have the German GP up next at the Sachsenring, where we will continue to strive for podiums and the elusive race wins.

Alternatively some will be taking their holidays, if it involves a Nolan or X-lite in any way be sure to share it with us!

MOTOGP

ALEX RINS 2nd

“This morning I was feeling really sick, some problems with my stomach. But the doctors at Clinica Mobile gave me some medicine and it took away the pain, so I must really thank them, because when I felt better I thought ‘wow, this will be my race!’. It was a fantastic battle and I learned a lot of things during the race. Our race pace was good and I was able to enjoy it! There were a lot of over-takes and tight moves, so I was always trying to push to stay with the others and hold my space. I feel very positive with my bike and with my team, we all really want to improve and win. We’ve had a really competitive bike since Qatar, but we’ve been able to change a few things to get extra power and better performance, so I hope I can stay at the top for the next races too. I feel confident for Sachsenring.”

MOTO3

AARON CANET 2nd

"I was calm and comfortable in the group, so I thought they would pull me because in this circuit it is very difficult to escape. When we were missing three laps we cut gas because nobody wanted to lead, but Jorge [Martín] took advantage of it. When I saw that he was running away, I got in front of the group to try to reach him but I did not make it ... On the last lap I was overtaken by Enea [Bastianini], but I managed to go over him in the chicane and make sure the second place. I'm happy, but I cannot wait for a victory to come. "

ENEA BASTIANINI 3rd

"I’m very happy, it was a really difficult race, as Jorge [Martin] immediately pushed to run away. But we managed to hold on and put an important gap on the guys behind. We have fought so much on the front, always exchanging our positions. In the last laps we maybe lingered too much and Martin took advantage of it. However, a podium is an important result, especially for the standing. 21 points from the leader are not too much, we must keep the concentration high."
