MOTOGP REDBULLRING: A LOT OF EFFORT FOR OUR RIDERS

We know that Redbullring is a difficult track and there is a lot to fight against, but this time our guys had a really hard life.

Eighth place for Rins, in a hard-fought race, sixth for Canet, still struggling with some problems, and a crash for Gonzalez, when he was doing really well. Can we say that we want to close this weekend and think about Misano? We can and we want to say it. It's time for our home grand prix starting September 1st!

MOTOGP

ALEX RINS: 8th

"This race was one we marked on the calendar as being a tough one for us. I got into ninth place behind Zarco and I had a stronger rhythm than him, but I found it very hard to overtake him on the brakes. I was also losing a bit on the drive out of the corners. In the end I got eighth, but we took a lot of information and data today, the feedback is going to be really important for the next rounds. Misano is next up and that place suits us better! I wish Joan the best after his scary crash."

ARON CANET: 6th

I am neither disappointed nor happy with this placement. For my health and the way the race went, I don't think I could have expected more. Too bad because instead the qualifying, as a step, had given me hope. I thank the team and those who support me and I hope to do better in Misano!

MANUEL GONZALEZ: DNF

I could say that this weekend is one to forget but is not true. It's from the worst things that you learn the most, so we have to look forward and continue with our ascending line.

I started the race very well, overtaking 8 riders during the first lap but from the 4th lap I started struggling with the bike and I was riding too much on the limit. I crashed at lap 6, and I'm sorry for the team. I want to thank them for all their work.
